NTT DATA is participating for the fourth consecutive year in Technovation Girls, the largest international competition for app development to stimulate STEAM talent. Each year, this initiative invites different teams of girls between 10 and 18 years of age from around the world to learn and develop skills that lead to them solving worldwide problems with technology.
As a company, we collaborate at Technovation as allies of the organization, as well as providing judges and training NTT DATA teams made up of girls and mentors. The latter are NTT DATA professionals who volunteer to play an essential role by devoting their time to motivating and guiding the girls with one overriding objective: that they become the next generation of women who will find and design solutions to large social and environmental problems.
This year—and we wouldn’t expect anything less—the hard work and hunger of everybody who participated has once again paid off. Two of the NTT DATA teams are world semi-finalists! Menudas Mentes from Zaragoza (Spain), made up of Martina, Marta, Andrea and Estela, and their mentors Marta and Carolina; and the Zest Majestic team from London (United Kingdom), whose members are Tavisha, Viha, Asmi, Sanvi and Francesca, and mentors César, Richard and Helena.
