London, April 3, 2024 – Today, the technology consulting firm NTT DATA, announced the disappearance of the current structure and composition of its Board of Directors for the EMEAL region (Europe and Latin America) as part of the group's transformation process. This process involves the strategic combination of NTT Ltd. and NTT DATA's businesses outside of Japan, consolidating its position as a leader in technology services worldwide.
Thus, with effects as of March 31 (the company's fiscal year-end date), Eduardo Serra, the Chairman of the Board, steps down after nearly 20 years accompanying its growth. NTT DATA wants to express its immense gratitude for the work done by Eduardo Serra all these years. In this case, Serra will continue his relationship with the company as an external advisor.
Alongside the Chair of the Board, and to facilitate the process, they have voluntarily resigned as members of this: the second vice president, Pedro Luis Uriarte; and the independent directors Pilar Zulueta, Alejandro Ferreiro, and Mónica de Oriol, all of them well-known professionals with a long trajectory. NTT DATA also wants to express its gratitude to each one of them for their commitment over the years.
