Health & Safety Policy

NTT DATA UK is a leading provider of consultancy services in strategy and business process, IT/communications systems, networks and outsourcing of software and business services.

NTT DATA UK is committed to, as far as is reasonably practicable, ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees and anyone affected by our business activities, and to providing a safe and suitable environment for all those attending our premises.


This Policy Statement sets out NTT DATA UK’s commitment to:

  • Comply with applicable legislation, regulatory codes of practice, statutory, contractual, and other requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and eliminate health and safety hazards, controlling risks arising from work activities.
  • Prevention of accidents, near misses, work-related injury, and ill health.
  • Consult with employees on matters affecting their health and safety.
  • Provide and maintain a safe workplace and equipment.
  • Provide appropriate training and supervision in safe working methods and procedures.
  • Implement emergency procedures in response to fire or other incidents.
  • Provide a framework for objective setting and for continual improvement ofhealth and safety management and performance.
  • Provide the means and resources to comply with ISO45001:2018, while maintaining Senior Leadership commitment to:
    • Considering the nature and scale of our occupational health and safety risks.
    • The ongoing prevention of injury and ill health.
    • Maintaining effective internal and external communications.
    • Setting performance objectives and supporting performance improvement.
  • Conduct periodic, planned audits of our management system, to review ongoing compliance with ISO 45001:2018.


NTT DATA UK employees’ duties:

  • Ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and wellbeing of themselves and anyone who may be affected by our operations.
  • Fully cooperate with NTT DATA UK and support NTT DATA UK’s legal duty and commitment to continued health, safety, and wellbeing control throughout the organisation.
