Microsoft Ignite came to London with the most popular on-demand sessions and interesting collaborations with the greatest experts in the Microsoft Tech Community, and some of the NTT DATA UK team visited. Below is an account from one of our FE Developers Manuel Valles who just couldn’t miss the opportunity to take part in this amazing experience.
I was really excited to attend the two days conference sessions of the tour which provided me a technical training led by Microsoft experts and its community, totally free!!I learnt about the different ways to build solutions, migrate and manage infrastructure, and connect with local industry leaders and peers, all of that in just 14-15 hours.I also picked a main learning path which was based in a series of connected learning modules which includes sessions, hands-on experiences, technical workshops, and expert connections.
The conference kicked off with an opener video to lay the foundation of the event, and then we did some networking during the social hours and met with a few partners in The Hub. I moved on to complete some additional learning paths to continue my growth and I had the opportunity to pick up my Tour T-shirt!
There were so many options for the different topics, so it was pretty hard to pick the right ones. Some of the topics I was interested in were: Azure Monitor, Containers and Orchestration, the Command Line, Data Storage, A/B testing and AI.
It was an amazing experience which I would recommend to every single developer. So much to learn, excellent organisation, outstanding Ignite staff and really interesting speakers. However, don’t forget, if you needed a break, you could enjoy one of the many games placed at the Hub, or sit down in a very handy cardboard chair. Here is where the small details make the difference.
