London, 12 August 2025: Today, NTT DATA UK&I, a global leader in digital business and technology services, announced that it has appointed Bhushan Patil as its new Head of Telecom, Media and Technology (TMT). Bhushan will lead the continued growth of NTT DATA’s TMT capability and adds further depth in knowledge, bringing more than three decades of experience in the telecoms sector.
Bhushan joins as NTT DATA steps up its investment in its TMT practice, with a renewed focus on strategic hires and increased market presence. His appointment marks a push to engage more directly with clients on critical transformation challenges – from modernising legacy infrastructure to managing AI adoption and shifting to cloud-native networks.
After beginning his career as a telecoms engineer at Siemens, Bhushan shifted to Europe in 1999, playing a key role in establishing and growing European practices from the ground up for many organisations. He also spent 16 years at another multinational IT services company, where he helped expand the firm’s business beyond traditional IT into networks, operations support systems (OSS) and 5G services for telecom operators and large enterprises.
