London, UK, 10 January 2019: Technology consultancy NTT DATA UK has appointed Maggie Morrison as Client Partner, Public Services Scotland. Working out of NTT DATA UK’s Scottish headquarters in Glasgow, Morrison will lead the delivery of the company’s consulting and IT services to the Scottish government in Holyrood and devolved agencies, helping them to meet their transformation goals.
Morrison joins the firm having served as Vice President, Public Sector Scotland at CGI, where she was instrumental in increasing revenue by 260% and bringing in new business of £500m in total contract value.
She brings 35 years of experience working in IT sales and business operations in companies, including Hewlett Packard, Cisco, 3Com and Cabletron, working across the France, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the US.
Morrison moved back to Scotland in 2008 and has since played a key role in championing digital transformation in the public sector, IT skills development, and equality in the workplace.
She is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors, a member of the Scottish Apprenticeship Advisory Board, the SCDI Executive Committee and The Centre for Work Based Learning Advisory Group. Morrison also serves as a Non-Executive Director at the Scottish Chambers of Commerce.
