NTT DATA UK, a leading global IT services provider, has announced that it has appointed Evelyn Healy as Vice President of Human Resources. Heading up the HR function across the UK, Healy will focus on creating a people-centred approach within the business while building and delivering organisational capability. Alongside this, Healy will also continue to drive forward NTT DATA’s commitment to diversity and inclusion following its recent recognition as a Financial Times Diversity Leader.
Healy began her HR career in Ireland and transferred to London with Yahoo! In 2006, to help the company keep pace with its hypergrowth. Having built on this experience, she combined her passion for sports with her HR expertise and joined ESPN as HR Director for EMEA and led ESPN through significant change. Healy has also worked at WPP and throughout her career has focused on building performance-driven cultures. She has led businesses through transformation on a global basis and partnered with leadership teams.
As NTT DATA UK’s VP of HR, one of Healy’s primary focuses will be consolidating the culture of the business following last year’s integration, which saw the company become part of NTT DATA EMEAL (Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America). Healy will also oversee NTT DATA UK’s projected growth, with the business planning to increase head count by more than 20% over the next year.
