TOKYO – June 6, 2023 – NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services leader, today announced Everest Group has named the company as a Leader in its Low-Code Application Development Services for OutSystems PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2023 report. The report evaluated 15 service providers based on their vision, strategy, capabilities, and market presence for services performed on the OutSystems low-code platform.
The analyst group awarded NTT DATA with its highest assessment grades in five of nine specific criteria: including portfolio mix, value delivered, overall market impact, vision and strategy, and innovation and investments. It also rated NTT DATA well above average in market adoption, scope of services offered, and overall vision and capability.
“As low-code application development platforms take on increasingly larger roles in enterprise technology stacks, customers are relying more on service providers to optimise the platforms’ effectiveness and deliver value across industries, geographies and application types,” said Kaz Nishihata, Senior Executive Vice President & Representative Director at NTT DATA Corporation. “We believe Everest Group’s inclusion of NTT DATA as a Leader in low-code application development services shows that we have the industry-leading expertise, the well-defined delivery models, processes and tools, and the strong partner ecosystem to help customers get the most out of low-code initiatives.”
NTT DATA has partnered with OutSystems since 2011 with the vision of transforming customers’ existing core systems and improving and automating business processes. OutSystems has also recognised NTT DATA’s deep technical and business knowledge across industries including Energy & Utilities, Banking and Financial Services, Government, Insurance, Retail and Consumer Goods, and technology disciplines such as DevOps and development of UX/UI.
In the report, Everest Group credited NTT DATA’s development of several proprietary solutions built on the OutSystems platform, including OutSync, a tool that enables the migration of OutSystems data between installations on premises and in the cloud. The report also highlighted a pair of customer success stories, including the development of a mobile app (C-vive APP) to increase cancer awareness in rural areas of South Africa that are lacking in internet access.
“Low-code application development has become increasingly popular as businesses seek to streamline their software development processes and drive innovation at an accelerated pace.
