NTT DATA UK attends UK-Japan reception at 10 Downing Street

NTT DATA UK brings Japanese technology to the UK

Earlier this month, NTT DATA UK’s CEO, Simon Williams, attended an invitation-only reception with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe and Prime Minister Theresa May at 10 Downing Street, London. Tokyo-based NTT DATA were invited along to showcase Britain as the best place in the world to run a tech company and to drive inward investment in key sectors.

The Prime Ministers used the reception to discuss the future of Japanese and British business links and the potential for post-Brexit business collaboration with NTT DATA UK and other businesses.

Simon Williams, CEO of NTT DATA UK, said: “Post-Brexit, we believe the UK is, and will continue to be, a thriving market and innovation hub for countries in Europe and the rest of the world.

“There are significant opportunities for companies like NTT DATA to grow their UK presence, while helping partners and customers to develop and benefit from international collaboration. Developing and maintaining lasting business relationships between the UK and countries such as Japan are crucial to making this happen.”
