NTT DATA UK is a leading provider of consultancy services in strategy and business process, IT/communications systems, networks and the outsourcing of software and business services.

This Environmental Policy applies to NTT DATA UK Ltd.’s UK operations and activities, including workplace operations, project delivery, business travel, IT assets, facilities management, and procurement. It applies to all employees and to contractors and suppliers working on our behalf where relevant.

NTT DATA UK is committed to environmental best practice and to continual improvement of our Environmental Management System (EMS) to enhance environmental performance.

• Comply with, and where appropriate exceed, all applicable environmental legislation, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain robust governance processes to ensure environmental risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed.

Environmental Protection and Pollution Prevention: 

• Protect the environment through the prevention of pollution and responsible management of our activities, services, and supply chain.
• Identify and manage the environmental aspects and impacts associated with our operations to reduce adverse effects.

Climate, energy, resources, and waste:

• Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption across our operations in support of broader sustainability objectives.
• Promote efficient use of natural resources, prioritising reduction, reuse, and recycling to minimise waste and landfill dependency.
• Implement sustainable procurement practices by engaging suppliers and partners who demonstrate strong environmental stewardship.

Objectives, performance, and continual improvement:

• Establish measurable environmental objectives and targets and monitor performance to drive continual improvement of our Environmental Management System.
• Embed environmental considerations into business planning, project delivery, workplace operations, and decision-making processes.
• Foster a culture of environmental responsibility through employee training, awareness programmes, and leadership accountability.

Awareness and Engagement:

• Encourage clients, partners, and stakeholders to collaborate in advancing sustainable business practices.
• This Environmental Policy is communicated to all employees and made available to relevant stakeholders. Senior leadership is accountable for ensuring its implementation and for providing the resources necessary to achieve our environmental objectives.
