NTT DATA UK solution experts had the chance to expand their skills at a recent hackathon organised by Microsoft. This three-day event saw a team of NTT DATA UK Intelligent Experience specialists from the CRM and DevOps practices deepen their knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform, combining modules and features to demonstrate a working product.
The Microsoft Partner Azure & AI Hackathon offered attendees the chance to use the latest Microsoft Azure capabilities and related Microsoft products, opening up new possibilities for future products and solutions that could benefit our clients using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
NTT DATA UK chose an ambitious use case that integrated several modules and features into a Virtual Assistant service known as ‘Concierge’. Accessible through a chat bot or mobile app (including voice recognition), the service can take notes, make calls, follow up and send reminders, and log project time.
To develop the service, NTT DATA UK experts integrated features such as: QnA Maker, a cloud-based cognitive service for FAQs; Power Automate to connect data; Power Apps for a mobile app enabling voice recognition; and Dynamics 365 for Project Service Automation to allow booking time to a project via the bot.
