LONDON, UK – 10 October 2019 – NTT DATA UK today announces that Dame Inga Beale, the former CEO of Lloyd's of London, has joined its new advisory board as a specialist advisor. In her new role, Dame Inga will offer strategic guidance for the company’s insurance business and support NTT DATA in promoting the insurance sector as an attractive career for more women and minority ethnic groups.
With over 35 years of experience in global financial services, Dame Inga will align with NTT DATA’s insurance business, which grew 45% in 2018. She will work closely with NTT DATA UK’s Head of Insurance, Kim Gray, and advise on the challenges facing firms in the London Market as they accelerate their transformation plans, helping NTT DATA develop the services that can deliver on those specific needs.
As NTT DATA UK continues to grow organically at 15-20% a year, the new advisory board has been created to support its continued expansion in the UK. The advisory board will provide market insights; share lessons learned and best practices from peer organisations whilst helping to accelerate product development, new capabilities and future innovations.
The board follows the announcement of a £68million investment by NTT DATA in its UK-based operation earlier this year which will create more than 350 new jobs across London, the Midlands and Scotland, and enable new capabilities to accelerate the delivery of the latest technological innovations to industries in the UK.
