London, 29 October, 2020 – Today, NTT DATA UK announced it has appointed Dean Gulzar as the new Head of Insurance. Gulzar will be responsible for leading NTT DATA UK’s team of skilled insurance consultants and further growing NTT DATA’s insurance business in the UK.
NTT DATA has a global roster of insurance companies. In the UK, its practice works in both commercial and specialist insurance, with clients including Legal & General, Lloyd’s, and Tokio Marine Kiln. Gulzar will drive new client acquisition within this sector, as well as continuing to ensure the high quality of service that NTT DATA provides to existing clients.
A former officer in the Royal Navy, Dean Gulzar has worked in the financial services and insurance industry for over 20 years, much of it in consulting firms Deloitte and PwC. At PwC, Gulzar was a partner in the US advisory business and led part of its insurance business out of Chicago. At Deloitte, he worked with clients in insurance and prior to that, he led the Genpact’s EMEA & Asia Pac insurance business.
